The Darkness is a first person shooter game from Starbreeze, the developer of the game Chronicles of Riddick. You’ll play as a mafia named Jackie who wants her revenge, aided by Demonic tentacles. These tentacles can serve as a scout, to reverse the car and eat the hearts of your enemies. Unfortunately, The Darkness was only released on a console. The sequel of this game have been announced and will be released on the PC.

When the game first released in 2007, The Darkness become one of the FPS shooter game that actually appears solid, but unfortunately the game is less popular by top class games like Bioshock, Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4.

Recently, the 2K Games finally announced the sequel to the latest official with the title: “The Darkness II”. Jackie Estacado who becomes the main character in The Darkness The first will be back in this latest sequel. The developer explained that The Darkness II will continue the story of Jackie after The Darkness successfully taken possession of Jackie, and Jackie was involved with making a major war between mafia families.

The Darkness II displays the FPS shooter game system that combines a modern feel with the supernatural. The game is still in the stage of development, the developer said that if The Darkness II will appear more brutal with a complex storyline adult.
